OUR MISSION AS WOMEN

Glad Tidings Women’s Group in San Francisco has a heart to reach missions around the world. We are on the forefront of raising monies that equip churches in other countries.

We also have a vision to equip women at Glad Tidings to reach their full potential in Christ by strengthening them in His Word. We want women to know God and make His love known not only in their communities but in by reaching out beyond themselves to the developing world.

Specifically we offer:

1. Monthly brunches with inspirational speakers
2. Evening Bible studies
3. Retreats and conferences
4. Mobilization of GT ladies for specific projects
5. Seasonal activities that build community

All mothers with babies under two or expecting are welcome to join this group.

PRAYER & SHARE

Women’s Prayer & Share meets seasonally.  Women come together to share about what’s happening in their lives.  This is an open forum to learn about God’s character as well as practicing how to pray out loud.  The goal of Prayer & Share is simple:  for women to be encouraged in their daily lives.

WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY

Women’s Ministries hosts Bible studies throughout the year to help women grow deeper in their faith.  These studies often combine books, DVDs, and group discussion drawn from the teachings of women like Joyce Meyer, Thelma Wells, and Beth Moore.  These groups typically meet on Sunday mornings or Thursday evenings for 4-6 weeks.

ONE IN A MILLION BIBLE STUDY:  Thursdays  at 6:30pm and runs for seven weeks.  Topic: One in a Million – a DVD series with Priscilla Shirer.   Cost: $15

QUILTING CLASSES

Join a Quilting Class at Glad Tidings. These classes will continue on the first Saturday of each month again this Fall.

You are encouraged to bring their own supplies, but there are some to share amongst the group.

Time: Begins this Saturday, Oct.1, 2011, 1:00PM to 3:00.
