What’s the 2012 VISION Pledge Drive?

GT is moving forward!  To maximize this, we must:

  • Train a high impact choir to energize every meeting.
  • Send $20,000 to India to feed the poor.
  • Send $50,000 to Ecuador to build classrooms.
  • Send 100 atmosphere changers to Ecuador in August.
  • Blow the roof off of GT & revitalize our auditorium.
  • Create room in our overcrowded auditorium by opening the Balcony.
  • Hire another full-time Child Development Worker.
  • Continue our Kids Church overhaul.

How do we make it happen?

Join the GT MASS CHOIR!

    1. Practices 2:30pm Jan. 15, 22, 29 & Feb. 5th, 12th.
    2. Performances  CD Recordings on Feb.19 & Feb.26.
    3. Worship Services  March 4th, 11th, 18, 25.

  
Join the Children’s Workers Team!

    a. Attend a leadership-training course. Begins March 4, 2012.
    b. Help once a month.

We commit to be a group of forward thinking, openhearted people who are passionate about our pursuit of GOD and lifting up those who are seeking purpose and hope.

Vision 2012 is about committing to create an environment where:
o People with real questions explore together and find answers.
o Solid families discover a place for their children to develop strong values and become leaders.
o Single people find nourishing friendships.
o Broken people with real struggles find a safe place to process their pain and experience healing.

Specifically, we need commitments from GT to:

1.  Fill the choir loft weekly.Our goal is to have the GT choir lead us into worship every week.

Total Cost:  $0

2.  Enroll 100 in our Construction and Care Team to Ecuador. Our goal is to build two classrooms in Guayaquil.

Total Cost: $50,000

3.  Equip our Support Team to India. Our goal is to encourage and feed 20,000 people in rural India.

Total Cost:  $20,000

4.  Transform the GT Facility
Knowing that, we need more room for what God is doing, we are undertaking two building projects:

a. Take the ceiling off of GT.
On top of the current ceiling is 16 feet of unused space.  We want to free up that space for the ongoing expansion of GT by removing this ceiling.

b. Reopen the Balcony.
In order to increase the seating capacity of GT and create momentum we desire to reopen the balcony.

Total Cost:  $250,000

5.  Upgrade our Children’s Programs POWERKIDS must hire two part-time workers. Begin three additional programs:

AWANA –  A mid-week program to train leaders.
PKSC – Cutting edge curriculum for GT’s Children.
New Partners – 60 new workers.

Total cost:  $40,000
