Glad Tidings Church San Francisco has always outreached to other Christian groups, by way of tithing and donating. Most of these are foreign missions, but there are some local groups that we work with. Scroll through them. Maybe you want to donate to them too. Just click on the button below.

About Speed the Light

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the “essential transportation and creative communication” equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word, and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the Great Commission.

Speed the Light (STL) is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. Since its beginning, STL has raised over $253 million for missionary equipment around the world. (For more information on STL, click here: Knowing Speed the Light.)

They are helping to establish Bible Schools to train leaders in provinces that have previously had nothing available to them. They are also helping to facilitate assistance for church planting efforts in interior, war-ridden areas in desperate need of help. In the capital they have been helping Africa Tabernacle Evangelism with a five-year, 100-church project called “The Congo Challenge.” In the future they also plan to be involved with orphans and HIV/AIDS ministry. How can I repay the Lord
For all his goodness to me? …
I will fulfill my vows to the Lord
In the presence of all his people.

Joe and Alice Lear

GT has provided funds to purchase books for Alice’s ministry of teaching English as a second language. There is a great need for the training of ministers in Croatia, and it is very useful to the students to be able read and write in English. So much of the good evangelical and Pentecostal training materials are only in English. Please continue to pray for Croatia, that God would open many hearts to the Gospel.
