This is available behind the building on Ellis Street. Our 2nd larger lot is located at the corner of Ellis and Webster and can be seen from Webster Street. You are welcome to park in either parking lot. For that go here.

 


People Dress Casually at GT

There isn’t a dress code at GT We encourage you to feel comfortable whether you’d like to dress formally or just in jeans and t-shirt, it makes no difference here. You will see people dressed in a variety of ways at just about every GT meeting.

Great Music and Messages
Our services feature worship with a live band and relevant Biblical messages that will give you practical helps to live your best life. Messages are illustrated with DVD clips, drama, and props. Music is contemporary, vibrant, and passionate which expresses GT’s desire to be authentic in our worship.

An Opportunity to Give
As a visitor please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering. GT’s support comes from within GT only. We do not have an outside organization that funds everything we do here. Our purpose for taking an offering is to empower the church to move forward and impact our CITY. Only regular attenders are asked to contribute.

A Friendly Atmosphere
You can slip out anonymously, or stay and make friends… the choice is yours. GT is a no-pressure-environment.

Safe and Fun Areas for your Children

Here’s how that works. There are several departments built and designed just for your kids to learn about a loving God—in a structured, safe environment.

 

 

For the infants. Our Second Floor is dedicated to infants 11 months and under. Here you check your children in at the rear of the main auditorium (the Sanctuary). Please go through the doors on the stained glass wall. Look for the “CHILDCARE” sign and follow the directions.

Toddlers. The “God’s Tot’s” room is for toddlers ages 12 months up to 4 years old.
To access this room walk through the GRACE CAFÉ (located just East of the Sanctuary) and turn right into the Children’s Department Wing.  You will be walking through the doors marked “CHILDCARE”, then all the way down the hall on the right. At the end of the hall is a check-in booth. Register your child there.

You will be given a validation chain with pass, and your child will be ready for you in the same place after the meeting. Attendants are caring, background checked and certified.

Four to Seven Year Olds.

Having Fun

This room is set aside for those 4 to 7 years old. We call it the “PowerHouse.” To access this room, you enter the GRACE CAFÉ at the back of the auditorium, turn right, and follow the signs that say, “Child Check-in.”

The room is on the left as you walk through the doors. The attendant will ask you to register there in the same way as above.

 

 

Children 8 to 12 years old.

As you enter the building through the Webster Street Entrance, follow the signs to the left marked Johnson Chapel.

Adult Classes and Bible Studies

Students in Johnson Chapel

We offer adult classes periodically through the year during Sunday Services or during the week. These classes are interactive and relevant in teaching. The weekly program will direct you to a class of your choice.

A Welcome and a Smile
GT is a diverse church, and we come from all walks of life. But as you enter, you’ll feel welcome. At the door you’ll be given a weekly worship guide or brochure and a Visitor’s Packet (please ask for one). This will be a great resource for you to discover what GT has to offer.

A Place for you to enjoy Church and Grow
Once seated please just sit back and relax. We hope you enjoy the meeting and no matter what your background in church is or whether you have a background in church at all.
